Bone Fracture Treatment Provided by Experienced, Board-Certified Physicians at UHealth Jackson Urgent Care – Country Walk
When dealing with a bone fracture – or even a suspected one – prompt treatment is a must. Most people know to get immediate medical attention when a broken bone is visible through the skin, but it’s also possible to fracture a bone without even realizing it. This is why a professional evaluation is so important any time an injury is sustained. At UHealth Jackson Urgent Care – Country Walk, we evaluate and treat broken and fractured bones in both adults and children, and no appointment is ever required.
The board-certified, UHealth – the University of Miami Health System physicians at UHealth Jackson Urgent Care – Country Walk treat minor broken bones and fractures, including:
- Broken fingers
- Broken toes
- Stable and hairline fractures
On-site X-ray capabilities allow us to properly assess the extent of a patient’s bone fracture without sending him or her to another facility for imaging, while our comprehensive review process ensures that each diagnosis is complete and correct. Any time we perform an X-ray, the result is reviewed by a UHealth – the University of Miami radiologist, as well as an on-site physician. Once we have a confirmed diagnosis, we can make individualized treatment recommendations based on the patient’s specific needs.
At UHealth Jackson Urgent Care – Country Walk, we provide several forms of bone fracture treatment, including casts and braces to stabilize the broken bone and anti-inflammatory medications to reduce pain and swelling. Our physicians will provide individualized recommendations for follow-up appointments based on the location and severity of a patient’s bone fracture or broken bone.
For prompt and professional bone fracture or broken bone treatment, head to UHealth Jackson Urgent Care – Country Walk from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, or during our additional weekend hours.
