Diagnostic Services at UHealth Jackson Urgent Care – Cutler Bay
A full range of routine diagnostic services are available at UHealth Jackson Urgent Care, an innovative collaboration between the University of Miami and Jackson Health System. Our Cutler Bay location is modern, comfortable, and equipped with digital X-ray suites, a clinical lab, and other technologies to streamline the care process for our patients. Because we offer immediate medical care and diagnostic services under the same roof, families who choose us for treatment won’t have to hassle with traveling to a separate diagnostic center to undergo the testing they may require.
At UHealth Jackson Urgent Care, we believe that the first step to effectively treating any condition is to make an accurate diagnosis. In addition to digital X-ray imaging (which emits less radiation than tradition X-ray technology) and electrocardiograms to gauge heart function, we offer the following diagnostic testing services at our urgent care center:
- Blood glucose testing
- Flu testing
- Hemoglobin testing
- Comprehensive metabolic panel (CMP) testing
- Pregnancy testing
- Prothrombin time (PT/INR)
- Sexually transmitted disease testing
- Strep testing
- Urine culture
- Testing for additional diseases
UHealth Jackson Urgent Care patients benefit from our two-step diagnostic review process. Following digital X-ray imaging or clinical lab testing, each patient’s imaging scans/lab work are reviewed on-site by a board-certified, UHealth – the University of Miami Health System physician, as well as a UHealth radiologist or pathologist to ensure an accurate diagnosis and appropriate course of treatment.
Visit UHealth Jackson Urgent Care – Cutler Bay at your convenience if you’d like efficient treatment for a lingering illness, prompt medical attention for a non-emergency injury, or a physical to ensure you stay at optimal health. We are open late every day of the week and do not require appointments. Our urgent care services include evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for adults and children with non-life-threatening conditions in the Miami-Dade area.
