Breathing Treatment at Miami-Dade Walk-in Centers

If you are suffering from asthma, bronchitis, or other respiratory conditions, come to a nearby UHealth Jackson Urgent Care center for a breathing treatment. Breathing treatments can help you breathe better by treating airway inflammation, shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing, and other issues. This treatment is also useful for treating children and anyone who may have difficulty using respiratory inhalers or require large doses of medication.

How Our Urgent Care Can Help

You can walk in to any nearby UHealth Jackson Urgent Care center without an appointment. One of our UHealth – University of Miami Health System board-certified doctors will examine you and provide a breathing treatment using a nebulizer device. The nebulizer converts liquid medication into a mist that can easily be inhaled and reach your lungs faster.

Our doctor may advise you to continue your breathing treatments after you leave the urgent care center. If so, you will be instructed on how to use a nebulizer at home.

While we can help with asthma and other breathing concerns, a severe asthma attack can be life-threatening. If breathing is obstructed, call 911 or visit your nearest emergency room.
