UHealth Jackson Urgent Care Centers Treat a Variety of Common Injuries
Accidents happen – and when they do, UHealth Jackson Urgent Care Centers provides patients with quality care, without the hassle or expense of an emergency room.
UHealth Jackson Urgent Care – Keystone Point welcomes patients of all ages, from children through seniors, and treats a variety of common injuries, including:
- Ankle, knee, elbow, wrist, and shoulder sprains
- Broken bones
- Minor cuts and lacerations
- First-degree burns
- Muscle sprains
- Minor sports injuries
- Minor conditions that trigger back or neck pain
- Injuries caused by slip-and-fall accidents
Although individuals who have severe, potentially life-threatening injuries (such as major traumas caused by a severe accident) are advised to head directly to an emergency room, those who are not dealing with critically urgent injuries are welcome to come to our urgent care centers, with or without an appointment. We utilize an advanced triage system that helps keep wait times to a minimum, while ensuring that patients with the most acute needs see a medical professional as quickly as possible.
Most importantly, our urgent care centers are staffed by board-certified, UHealth – The University of Miami Health System physicians who have extensive training in diagnosing and treating common injuries. Should additional testing be required to better understand the extent of a patient’s injury, we can conduct digital X-rays and basic lab tests on site, and the results are read by not only an urgent care physician, but also a UHealth radiologist or pathologist. And, regardless of how many tests or treatments a patient obtains at a UHealth Jackson urgent care center, we’ll provide a single bill to make the payment process as simple as possible.
Walk-ins are always welcome at UHealth Jackson urgent care centers. To consult with a medical professional at UHealth Jackson Urgent Care – Keystone Point, simply stop in and we’ll put you on the path to recovery as quickly as possible.
