Earwax Removal in Miami-Dade
If you suspect that you have earwax buildup and blockage, don’t hesitate to visit a nearby UHealth Jackson Urgent Care center. Earwax plays an important role in keeping our ears healthy, but when it builds up too much and blocks your ear canal, it can cause dizziness, head pressure, tinnitus, infections, or temporary hearing loss.
How Our Urgent Care Can Help
You can walk in to any nearby UHealth Jackson Urgent Care center without an appointment. One of our UHealth – University of Miami Health System board-certified doctors will examine your ears to determine whether you are experiencing any loss of hearing, suffering from an ear infection, or any other ear-related medical concern. A doctor will then safely clear any excess earwax from your ear canal.
If the doctor determines that you do have an ear infection, they’ll prescribe antibiotics and/or ear drops. They can also suggest over-the-counter pain relief options and decongestants to help keep you comfortable.
