Sutures and Stitches at Miami-Dade Walk-in Centers
When a minor cut or wound requires medical attention, skip the long waits at an emergency room and receive quick care for a fraction of the cost at your local UHealth Jackson Urgent Care center.
You can walk in without an appointment to be seen quickly by a doctor for everyday illnesses and minor injuries, including cuts and wounds.
How Our Urgent Care Can Help
Our board-certified doctors and experienced providers can provide sutures and stitches to close your wound and help it heal. All of our urgent care centers have an on-site lab and digital X-ray capabilities if diagnostic testing is needed.
After your stitches are in, we’ll teach you how to care for your wound and may prescribe antibiotics or ointment. We can also connect you to a local specialist from the University of Miami Health System and Jackson Health System if follow-up care is recommended.
