COVID-19 Antibody Tests Available at Miami-Dade Walk-in Centers
UHealth Jackson Urgent Care is offering FDA approved COVID-19 antibody testing in all our urgent care center locations throughout Miami. The antibody or serology test is a blood test that looks for signs of prior infection caused by the COVID-19 virus by measuring the level of antibodies in the bloodstream against the virus.
COVID-19 antibody testing is available to anyone, ages 5 and older, who is feeling generally healthy, may have had close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19, and who may have recovered from the coronavirus infection. For the most accurate results, we recommend waiting at least 14 days after possible symptoms or exposure to obtain an antibody test.
How Our Urgent Care Can Help
You can walk in to any of our urgent care centers without an appointment – no prescription required – to receive an FDA approved COVID-19 antibody test for $70.
Your COVID-19 antibody test results will be made available to you via a phone call as soon as they are ready (typically within 48 hours) and the results are completely confidential. Antibody test results do not lessen the importance of social distancing or use of cloth face covers or masks.
